ABOUT

Cars for Christ is a faith-based ministry helping families in NW Wisconsin and Twin Cities Minnesota. 

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide reliable transportation to single mothers and low income families helping them become self-reliant.

Your Help Is Needed

A single parent cannot provide for their family or go to work without a car.  There is no public transportation. Cars for Christ operates out of Polk County, WI, but serves families in NW Wisconsin and MPLS-St. Paul and surrounding areas. Contact us to learn more about how to participate in this program.

Our History

As of today, we have helped provide reliable transportaion to 152 families in almost 6 years.   Despite our efforts and God's amazing help, the list of those requesting help continues to grow.  The need is great and our supply of cars is short.   We need your help.  Please donate your car today.


Bethesda Lutheran Church in Dresser, Wisconsin has 501(c)(3) status so when you donate your car or van you will receive a form to submit on your schedule A as a charitable contribution.  Thank you for considering this worthwhile contribution!

How We Operate

  Started in 2018

·         We have donated over 111 cars serving the Twin Cities and  western Wisconsin communities and repaired another 41

·         We currently have over 115 people on the car waiting list

·         Serve single Mom's and low income families

·         We fix the cars (labor and parts) for free and donate your car to single Mom's and low income families

·         We do not sell cars or sell car parts.  All cars go to single Mom's and low income families

·         Your car donation is tax deductible

·         We pick up your car for free

·         Our ministry follows the teachings of Jesus Christ in caring for the poor and we are inclusive to everyone
